Reconstructive Surgery
Reconstructive plastic surgery deals with the repair of body parts damaged by trauma or affected by malformations, by tissues transfer, thus allowing for a restoration of appearance of the normal patient.

The aesthetic surgery is a branch of medicine is very important in our lives, the influence on us that has the physical appearance, beauty, rejuvenation, but also to counter the signs of aging
The surgery creates benefits not only in physical but improves self-esteem and security, alleviating fears and insecurities caused by a physical defect with which you can not live together peacefully.

Dr. Daniele Gandini
Dr. Daniele Gandini, Specialist in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, in Pisa, worked in Plastic Surgery Unit at Cisanello Hospital, Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Pisana from 1993 to 2010, with a personal cases report, more than 5500 surgery.
It is part of the Interplast Italy medical team",a Voluntary Organization for the International Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, and has participated, from 1995 to 2008 to 12 humanitarian surgical missions, 7 in Zambia (Southern Africa), 3 in Tibet (China), 1 in Uganda (Central Africa), 1 in Bolivia (South America)
In Cisanello Plastic Surgery Unit Pisa was responsible for the Melanoma Outpatients and was responsible for the Plastic Surgery post Obesity in Regional Center for the Obesity (University Endocrinologia Unit) until 7/2010. From 2000 to 2009 he worked as an advisor for surgical reconstruction in Integrated Female Cancer Unit in Pisa (Primary: Dr. Manuela Roncella) were he performed about 600 breast reconstruction.
He teached Plastic Surgery at the School of Specialization in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Siena University until 2010.
He is one of the founding members of the Association Against Melanoma ", for a ONLUS promoting research, prevention and information on malignant melanoma.
Is ordinary member of the Italian Society of Plastic Reconstructive Surgery and Aesthetics (SICPRE). And 'member of the Rotary Club of Pisa. And 'member of' ACOI (Italian Association of Hospital Surgeons) and ' Intergroup ' IMI (Italian Melanoma Intergroup). Since 2006 he is a collaborator, with Interplast Italy in Onlus Arpa Association(www.fondazionearpa.it ) Chaired by Prof. Franco Mosca (Dir. General Surgery and Transplantation, Pisa) and he is collaborator in Hope Humanitarian Project of S. Anna Superior School in Pisa
